Born 1983, Bad Saeckingen, Germany; lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland.
Siepert studied Visual Communication at the University of Basel. He then studied Fine Arts with a focus on New Media Art at the University of Aarau and at the Master of Fine Arts Department at Parsons in New York, where he focused mainly on photography. His body of work covers a wide range of disciplines from photography to interactive installations and performance art. In addition to following his own artistic goals, Siepert is also very active in cultural youth work.

Siepert received various grants for this work and did artist residencies in Stuttgart, Hamburg, Cairo, and Manama. His work is in the Collection of the Christoph Merian Foundation, Basel; The Museum for Communication, Bern; The House of Electronic Arts Basel; the Collection of the city of Waldshut, Germany, and other private collections. Siepert also did a commissioned Installation for the city of Hamburg, Germany.
