Sirine Fattouh

The concepts and sets of themes that I explore in my practice allow me to question engaged art, by approaching the concepts of memory and archives in the field of the contemporary art. I tackle these questions by using, in a recurring way, the form of documentary and of testimony via the medium of the video. I try to create in my videos devices that allow the spectator to position himself by leaving him the place to build his own history or fiction. In addition, the concept of fiction intervenes very little in my work and, if it is present as in the part of Vous écrire, I try to make it as partial as possible.
