Karen Kalou
Born 1979, Karen Kalou is a photographer who received a bachelor degree in Women Studies and Human Relations in 2004 from Concordia University and shortly after pursued a professional photography program at Dawson’s Institute of Photography in Montreal, Canada. Her practice revolves around the thematics of the everyday/street life, the self, and psychological portraiture. Currently living in Beirut, Lebanon, Kalou is immersing herself into Lebanese scenery, her photography has become more focused on reflecting the empowerment of nature and reflecting the passing of time. 
She is represented by The Running Horse Contemporary Art Space.
